A story about a second life.

Hi, I’m Marc, and this is my Artwork portfolio. My lifelong passion is being in the water. I learned to swim at the age of 2, and spent my life working in or around the ocean. This includes starting as a ocean lifeguard at 16, to surfing weekly now in my retirement.

This is a story about a second life. In April 2023, I officially retired from the Coast Guard following a spinal surgery and brain injury. The posts going forward are an expression of my passion as I recover and learn how to be me again.
